spotify playlists for your practice

Music plays an integral role for me in a yoga class as a student and a teacher. While I understand that music isn’t for everyone in yoga, it’s a key part of my recipe and I believe the experience isn’t the same without it. Music helps us stay in the present moment and can help us connect to our emotional body. Music can energize us, uplift us, ground us and calm us. It’s a very powerful tool that can help us reflect on ourselves and increase our awareness.

When selecting songs for class, I deliberately choose music that has a positive message and suits the overall vibe of that particular class. The songs of each playlist are carefully arranged in an order that matches the arc of the class: start slow, gradually build to a peak and wind down into Savasana so that you can leave class feeling your absolute best.
